Bankers, brokers, bookies, artisans, ladies of society, "a well-known rowing champion" and two members of Parliament last week joined a club which purposes to provide its members with instruction in flying—the London Aero Club. Some because they were bored, some because they were eager, the rowing champion because he was tired of rowing, the members of Parliament because they were tired of riding in trains to visit their constituents and purposed to drive their own planes in the future, the ladies because they were tired of everything—all wanted to learn to fly....
