PROHIBITION: Right-Hand Man

In Washington, General Lincoln C. Andrews, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in charge of Prohibition enforcement, smilingly replied to reporters who asked whether Prohibition Commissioner Haynes, lately stripped of most of his powers, would resign:

"Mr. Haynes leaving? I hope not. He is going to stay as our right-hand man."
