Jeremiah Smith Jr., of Boston, League of Nations Commissioner General
in Hungary, in a recent report to Geneva said that Hungary will,
according to estimates, have a budgetary surplus of $5,500,000 on
June 30, 1926, instead of an estimated deficit of $10,000, 000. (This
year's budget showed a surplusnot yet determinedinstead of an
expected deficit of $20,000,000.)
