Council Meeting To decide many questions, the largest of which has to do with the security of Europe, went statesmen of the world to Geneva for the purpose of sitting in solemn confabulation in the Council of the League of Nations. Present were: British Foreign Secretary Austen Chamberlain, French Foreign Minister Aristide Briand, Czecho-Slovakian Foreign Minister Eduard Benes, as well as representatives of Italy, Japan, Uruguay, Brazil, Sweden, Spain, Belgium.
