Everyone realizes that U. S. business closely watches the Federal Government, but the equal scrutiny being maintained by Washington authorities upon business is not so often recognized. Last week, when wheat and stock were doing a sharp speculative "nose-dive," the Cabinet solemnly met to consider conditions of trade, and the "outlook for continued prosperity." after another of the Cabinet officer gave his opinion as to the present am the immediate future.
