In Baltimore, "the little world's series" waxed hot between the Baltimore Orioles, champions of the International League, and the St. Paul Saints, champions of the American Association. First Baltimore won, 4 to 3, what with 11 strike-outs and a ninth-inning homer. The Saints came back and took the second game like a tennis set, 6 to 0.
