So quiet has been the official tongue about the proceedings of the Anglo-Russian parley in London (TIME, Apr. 28, May 19, June 16) that many were the people who had almost forgotten its existence.

A rumor was spread that deliberations between the British holders of Russian bonds and the Soviet, delegates had reached an impasse. No reliable details were made public.
