THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS: In Council

At the 29th session of the Council of the League of Nations at Geneva, the following business, inter alia, was discussed:

Russian Refugees. Señor Alberto N. Guani, Uraguayan member of the Council, stated that Russian refugees would be welcome as immigrants in South America, particularly into Uraguay.

The Council decided to transfer the Russian refugee problem to the International Labor Office (League Organization) as it was no longer political but economic.

Greece informed the Council that some 100,000 Russian refugees on her territory should go elsewhere, as she was unable to continue...
