Science: New Comet

From South Africa, via Copenhagen, via the Royal Astronomical Society of London, came the news that a new comet has been discovered by a Mr. Reid at the Royal Observatory of the Cape of Good Hope. Last week it was 123 degrees from the North Pole of the heavens, and 44 degrees to the right of the "first point of Aries" (the Greenwich Observatory of the celestial universe). But it is moving northward at the rate of 30 minutes (half a degree) a day, and to the east by 53 minutes a day. The...
