With Honduras and Mexico setting the example, the Nicaraguan Presidential primaries made a bold bid for the front page of U. S. newspapers. Aspirants for the Presidential nomination of the Conservative Party, which has governed Nicaragua since 1910, include General Emiliano Chamorro, former Minister to the U. S., and Dr. Carlos Cuadra Pasos, Minister for Foreign Affairs.
