An answer is an answer, in politics. William G. McAdoo campaigning in Georgia, had just completed a speech at Macon. An inquiring Georgian rose and asked: "How do you stand on the Ku Klux Klan?"
Mr. McAdoo never hesitated. Turning to the questioner, he answered thuswise:
"I stand four-square with respect to this and every other order, on the immutable guarantee of liberty contained in the first paragraph of the Constitution of the United States, that is, for freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religious worship and the right of peaceable...
