THE PRESIDENCY: The White House Week: Feb. 11, 1924

¶President Coolidge addressed the Ohio Society of Washington on the anniversary of the birthday of William McKinley, praised the six Presidents which Ohio has given to the country— Hayes, Garfield, McKinley, Taft, Harding. Chief Justice Taft presided. ¶ The President extended invitations to some 80 persons representing agriculture, banking, transportation, etc., to attend a conference in Washington on relieving farmers of distress by arrangements for refunding their pressing debts.
