The Marquis Pateras Pescara broke his own world's records for helicopter flight by remaining in the air eight minutes 13 4/5 seconds while flying 1,160 metersabout two-thirds of a milein a vertical line. He will now try for the prize of the Aero Club of France, which requires a flight of 500 meters, with return and landing within a circle ten meters in diameter.
