The Senate pages lost their Santa Claus and didn't know what to do. Every year on Christmas day the Vice President invites them to dinner. This year there is no Vice President. Senator Cummins, President pro tern of the Senate, took train for Iowa without knowing of the matter. The pages sent word to the White House, asking what was to be done. The President sent back word that he was sorry but didn't know either.
