The Farmers' Union decided to send a deputation to Premier Baldwin to
lay before him the "deplorable state of British agriculture."
It is hoped that the Government will aid in the work
of rehabilitation. Farmers are faced with heavy losses on arable
cultivationlosses which they cannot sustain unless the Government
helps, said the President of the Union.
