In its issue of Sept. 24, TIME printed the following paragraph:
There are othersU. S. Grant, Jr., of San Diego; R. Benjamin Harrison, of Indianapolis, both lawyers. It is further reported that there is a son of Rutherford B. Hayes living. This, however, has not been verified by TIME.
Dr. Charles R. Williams, author of the Life of Rutherford B. Hayes, kindly furnishes the following information :
