Down, back of the world, a new prophet has arisen. Fourteen million Moslems is the number of faithful in Eastern Russia, the Caucasus and Tashkent. They—or at any rate their so-called representatives—discovered the prophet, and, assembling at Ufa, capital of the Bashkir Republic, they elected him mufti.
