H. Scales, the battleships Florida, Delaware and North Dakota arrived
in Copenhagen for a ten-day visit.
According to reports, there was one long round of festivities—
athletics for the gobs, fêtes for the officers,
culminating on July 4 with a ball given by the U. S. Minister
to Denmark, John D. Prince.
