The Anti-Saloon League observed its 30th birthday without a celebration. It was founded by Dr. Howard H. Russell at Oberlin, Ohio in 1893. It does not regard its work as finished and, according to its leaders, it " will agitate for real enforcement of the dry law throughout the country."
