According to a Patent Office report, women, during the past ten years, have invented 1,400 different "new and useful articles" ranging from a rotary plow share to an eggbeater. Among the articles are included a cow tail holder, a reinforced wooden bowl for beating eggs in and an artificial eyelash. The variety shows that women's activities in America are spreading out and cover every field of occupation and endeavor. "Children, church and kitchen" are no longer what they used to be.
