The engagement is announced of Lady Rachel Cavendish, fourth daughter of the Duke of Devonshire, to the Honorable James Gray Stuart, third son of the 17th Earl of Moray.
Lady Rachel, whose father will be best remembered as Governor General of Canada, is a close friend of the royal family, and was one of a few girls who were selected by Queen Mary to share the lessons given to Princess Mary at Buckingham Palace.
