BULGARIA: Bulgaria

Bulgarian irregulars, opposing the Government of which Stambolisky is Premier, attacked the Yugo-Slavian troops along the Serbian frontier. Two hundred and seventy Bulgarians were killed and a large number of prisoners were taken by the Serbs.

The Irregulars or " Comitadiji" are opposed to the terms of the Treaty of Neuilly, in which Bulgaria formally recognized her war indemnity and other obligations. The Comitadiji are a powerful organization receiving spasmodic support from Premier Stambolisky's political opponents.
