Not spending enough quality time in front of your TV? Help is on the way. The latest gadgets debuting at Tokyo's fall consumer-electronics shows are designed to keep your eyeballs occupied.

A DISH IN YOUR POCKET?
Sharp's 4E-MB1 Mobile AV Player ($630) is a chocolate bar-sized satellite-broadcast receiver with a 3.6-inch LCD screen and a memory card for viewing stored programs, e-books and images. It will pull down real-time video and audio from a fee-based satellite broadcasting system, scheduled to launch in Japan on Oct. 20
