When he named North Korea as a member of his infamous "axis of evil," U.S. President George W. Bush could not have anticipated just how far the Stalinist state would go to earn the label. While Bush's foreign policy team tries to stay focused on stripping Iraq of any weapons of mass destruction it may possess, the North's leader Kim Jong Il seems bent on demonstrating that his own regime is just as menacing.
