For years I have been puzzled as to why voters cast their ballots for candidates who purposely mislead the public ["Blue Truth, Red Truth," Oct. 15]. Your article made clear that reasoning with voters using facts will do no good in attempting to question false information. For the past five presidential elections, I have refused to vote for a candidate who uses unethical tactics. This will be the sixth election in which I will cast my vote for an independent.
