Dreaming On

Jon Meacham lost me in the first paragraph of "Keeping the Dream Alive" when he stated that the great enemy of economic capitalism is economic inequality [July 2]. There is always economic inequality no matter the economic system. Capitalism is not perfect, but it does a better job of rewarding hard work and pluck than any of the alternatives.
