Your cover story emphasized to me the important, defining difference between President Obama and Mitt Romney ["Dreams from His Mother," June 4]. Whereas Obama comes from humble beginnings, raised by a single mother of modest means, and had to struggle to reach the height of the presidency, Romney has been a privileged son in a line of well-heeled politicians. Who can better speak to the needs of average Americans?
