I love video games. I played my first one--it was Pong--when I was 7. I feel lucky to be part of the first generation of gamers. I also get to be a first-generation-gamer parent; my parents regarded games with a primitive, chimplike suspicion, but my daughter Lily will have a parent who understands them and plays alongside her.
