By the time Lara Koro finally took off on her way home from Paris to London in May, her post-holiday euphoria was all but gone. Returning from a break in Amman via France, Koro, 28, had already endured a 45-minute check-in delay before boarding her Air France flight. Then the plane was held for a further 20 minutes before takeoff. There was no explanation from the cockpit, she says, just "lots of apologies." When Koro finally reached Heathrow, more than an hour late, she was irate. "They should take measures to shorten delays," she snaps. "I'm pissed off."
