A Glorious Mess

Strolling through "From Eastern Han to High Tang: A Journey in Transculturation," it's easy to lose one's bearings. In the exhibition, which opened at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum last week, stately stone Buddhas commingle with Greek gods and goddesses, an Iranian prince, and a bare-chested warrior with a rosy complexion and deep blue eyes.
