JOHNNY UNITAS, 69, Hall of Fame quarterback who led the Baltimore Colts to a sudden-death victory over the New York Giants in the 1958 NFL championship game, still regarded by many as the greatest football game ever played; of a heart attack; in suburban Baltimore. Unitas broke passing records at the University of Louisville but was deemed too small by his hometown Pittsburgh Steelers, who cut him in 1955.
