Marking The Anniversary

Americans will pause on Sept. 11 to commemorate the sober occasion in many ways. Around the world, too, the date will be remembered. In Allentown, Pa., William Allen High School students will dedicate a 35-ft. mosaic depicting symbols of the events. Volunteers in San Francisco will unfurl artist Pop Zhao's 5-mile-long banner comprising 3,000 American flags and string it along the city's coastline.
